Alene Marrott, FNP-C

Alene received her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas, El Paso with high honors (Magna Cum Laude).

With more than 10 years’ experience as a clinical Registered Nurse (RN), Alene has extensive experience in hospital and clinic environments. Her clinical experience has included adult health, geriatric conditions, women’s health, and pediatric patients with an emphasis in Hispanic populations. Her focus has included primary care with expertise in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment.

While attending college in Michigan, Alene took a course in emergency medicine, from which She gained a deeper interest in health care which developed into her passion for nursing.

No stranger to the Southern Utah/Nevada region, Alene is originally from St. George, UT. Over the years she has lived in Michigan and the El Paso, TX areas for several years before locating in Mesquite, Nevada with her family.

Alene’s approach to health care is focused on compassionate care for her patients, using a holistic method for evaluation, diagnosis, and management. Alene’s patient-centered philosophy and experience includes caring for patients with complex medical needs.

Alene sees patients in the Wound Care Center at Mesa View Regional Hospital and sees patients for primary care at Mesa View Medical Group.

When not caring for patients, Alene enjoys time with her three children and family as well as hiking, rafting and other outdoor activities. She also enjoys some Sushi occasionally.
