Karrie Knopf, PA

Karrie Knopf, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and an Evanston native that is dedicated to caring for residents of this community. She has ten years of experience as a registered nurse (RN) prior to becoming a certified physician assistant (PA-C) in 2000.
Karrie provides many of the same healthcare services a family physician offers, including performing wellness exams/annual physicals, ordering tests, diagnosing and treating illnesses, writing prescriptions, and helping patients manage their chronic conditions.
Physician Assistants have extensive education and training, obtaining a four-year degree before attending a three-year physician-assistant program, and performing 2,000 hours of clinical training. To become certified, physician assistants must pass a national certification exam every six years.
