Mason Heywood, MD

Dr. Mason Heywood is a Board-certified family medicine physician in Tooele County, providing a full scope of medical practice for entire families from newborns to great-grandparents and everyone in between. He has been practicing for over 6 years in Idaho after receiving undergraduate degree at the University of Utah in Health Promotion & Education with a minor in chemistry, followed by medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed a residency at Hidalgo Medical Service, Family Medicine, in New Mexico. Dr. Heywood’s favorite thing about patient care is developing a relationship with his patients. He strives to provide the most up-to-date recommendations and care options. He aims to work with his patients, helping them understand their illnesses and disease processes so they can make informed decisions about their health care. He diagnoses and treats patients’ conditions, from simple ear or sinus infections to chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.
