Rae Delaney, NP

Rae Marie Delaney launched her career in health care more than 30 years ago as a Seargent in the United States Air Force. No stranger to Southern Nevada, she served as an Emergency Medical Technician at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Following her military service, she continued to develop her health care career with education and experience in a variety of hospital settings including acute care, surgery, cardiology, interventional radiology, and emergency medicine. She went on to earn her Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University, of Boston Massachusetts.

Rae approaches patient care with a patient-centered perspective. She believes that one of the most critical elements of patient care is listening and observing. She focuses attention on verbal and non-verbal communication which gives her a more comprehensive understanding of what patients are experiencing.

When not seeing patients, Rae enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, gardening, softball, kayaking and paddle boarding.

Ray Marie Delaney is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society in Nursing (Sigma), a global organization recognizing excellence in nursing.
