About The Provider
Robert Glenney, MD is serving families from newborns through adults in advanced age in Grantsville and surrounding areas of Tooele County. Dr. Glenney was born in Wisconsin and raised in North Dakota. He has lived and worked most recently in Virginia, practicing family medicine in a small community from 2006 through October 2024 when he moved to Utah. His healthcare philosophy is to provide reasonable, evidence-based medical care with an emphasis on what is important to the patient. His favorite part of practicing medicine is to help patients with what concerns them and to try to get to know what is important to each individual. Dr. Glenney moved to Utah to serve as a family medicine physician in the small community of Grantsville, while living closer to two of his seven grown children. He has 5 daughters and two sons. He enjoys winter skiing and is learning to snowboard. Dr. Glenney’s other hobbies include camping, hiking, sailing, and reading non-fiction history and biographies. If he had not gone into medicine, Dr. Glenney would have studied archaeology, ancient civilizations, while digging through historic ruins.
