Shanti Neerukonda, MD

Born in India, Dr. Neerukonda has lived in Odessa for over 20 years. He did a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Presbyterian / St. Lukes Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He is a board-certified physician in general cardiology and internal medicine.

Dr. Neerukonda has authored more than 10 publications in national peer review journals. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas Tech Health Science Center at the Permian Basin where he has received the “Best Community Teaching Award” twice. He recently was awarded “The Health and Science Heritage of Odessa 2017 Community Statesman Award”. Dr. Neerukonda's areas of interest are common heart conditions and rare disorders.
