Spencer Andersen, DO

Dr. Andersen is a general surgeon with experience in endoscopy, He completed his residency at Saint John's Episcopal Hospital, Far Rockaway, New York. Prior to that he received his medical degree from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. Originally from Utah, Dr. Andersen chose the field of general surgery because it gives him the opportunity to help people in a variety of ways. Dr. Andersen approaches his patients with a focus on appropriate education and supports their decisions by practicing good medicine. He believes that the doctor and patient need to be comfortable with each other and to have open communication built on mutual trust. When not seeing patients, he especially enjoys time traveling with his wife and children. Having grown up in Utah, he also enjoys outdoor activities such as Alpine skiing, canyoneering, rock climbing, camping and others.
